The Volcanic Region
The caldera of an extinct volcano that erupted 80 million years ago served to define an area of volcanic soil between southern Minas Gerais and northeastern São Paulo, which, due to its climate and relief characteristics, delimits a unique “terroir” where our coffees are produced.
Our territory, demarcated and protected, covers 12 municipalities located in the mountains that separate these two important Brazilian coffee-producing states.
The Farm began in the mid-19th century by a couple of immigrants from Italy. It is located in the volcanic region of Minas Gerais – Brazil. Situated in an area with altitudes ranging from 1050 to 1200 meters over the sea, the property is blessed with fertile soil and the peculiar climate of the region, providing ideal conditions for cultivating high-quality coffee.

For this reason, it has become the bridge between these producers and coffee roasters from around the world, having the ability to offer even more options and quantities of specialty coffees ranging from 80 to 92 on the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) scale.
With this partnership, the range of coffee varieties and flavors has expanded even further, offering coffees to suit all palates and sensory notes, such as fruity, floral, caramelized, chocolatey, nutty, citrusy, among other characteristics.
We also have the possibility to offer coffees with lower scores ranging from 70 to 80 on the SCA scale, characterized as premium.
